same old brand new me

a'kum everyone.

it's monday. revision week. i'm gonna have my first exam on 24th may. wish me luck. can't blog long coz i gotta revision to do. but anyways, i have one funny story again. yesterday while i was walking down to adi's house, i noticed a guy looking at me, smiling and stopped himself at the opposite of the road where the traffic lights were. so since i wanna go across the road, i *thought* he already press the button but i waited for like a minute, as he just stood there, smiling and lookig at how i looked completely like an idiot, thinking why the lights hadn't changed at all. so i checked and to my surprise, it hasn't been pressed so i pressed the darn button and within seconds, the lights changed and i went across while the guy was still smiling and probably expecting me to smile back. i just raised my right eyebrow and walked away. he followed me from behind and i had every intention to defend myself in case he attacked or tried to snatch my bag. before i knew it, he was walking beside me. saying "hi.." and i replied "hi.." and walked quicker. he asked for my name (aahh..typical... another guy hitting on me..again!) so i asked why does he want to know my name. and he said because you have very beautiful eyes. i, in return of blushing, said "oh..gee thanks.." he introduced himself as Shahrokh, from Italy, working in Darlington and asked how long i've been in middlesbrough. yes yes i mentioned the fact that i'm not from around here and that he probably never ever heard of my country so it wasn't worth mentioning. he gave me his number and asked me to call when i'm BORED, especially on sunday or tuesday, when he's free. and we shook hands and walked different directions. ah, i cannot believe this country. i was wearing my long top covering my whole body until my knees and still these people wouldn't stop and hit on other british girls or something. truly, what does it take? me with a head scarf on? so that they'll leave me alone? hmm, not a bad idea, actually. in fact, i fell in love with two headscarves i bought from tie rack and decided to keep them for me.. hehe..

new mission: me, respectable clothes. and headscarf. don't be surprised if one day i wear one of those pakistani dress n's mum cut for me. of course i bought the materials myself. haha. perhaps it's time to grow.. up!

good luck everyone. see you all in brunei!
