Look what I got...

Salaam 'Alaik everyone,

So...

Yesterday I almost finished reading the whole e-book of Ayat-Ayat Cinta when she told me I could get a copy of it in Brunei, so I told myself to be patient, pray that if it's my rezeki to have that book then I'd be thankful, but if not, then I'd be thankful as well.

I was about to give up when I went to the bookshop and didn't seem to find it, then, all of a sudden, I sorta move a book to read the synopsis, when the book I was looking for was just behind it. Exciting much! Alhamdulillah, I smiled.

So, not only I got the one I wanted, I also got another novel by the same author (Habiburrahman El Shirazy - "Ketika Cinta Bertasbih") of which, the second episode is highly recommended, as reviewed in Akhi Faridul's post here. I'm currently reading the first episode and I think I cannot wait to finish it and continue to read the second one. I wonder if I could ask anyone to get a copy for me in Malaysia (if I can't find it in Brunei at the time being) and send me it, with all cost covered?

Anyhoo, how's everyone doing with school re-opens and everything? I know my halaqah girls (the teachers, specifically) must be pretty busy planning the whole year of teaching, and the ones who will return back to study pretty pretty soon. I pray that Allah make it easy for you girls, insya Allah ;)

Should I review the Ayat-Ayat Cinta?

Simply stated - it's a story of which will make you (me, specifically) fall in love with Islam and ajaran-ajaran Islam, terutama at the 'hero' yang begitu teguh mempertahankan kesucian ajaran Islam, at all cost. Masya Allah, if I can find someone similar to the 'hero' in that novel, alangkah Maha Pemurah nya Allah subahanallah ta'ala untuk memberi rezeki macam atu untuk hambaNya yang sangat daif ani... insya Allah... jangan berhenti berdoa, right? Usaha dan doa, insya Allah =)

Everyday every time after solat, in my duaa, insya Allah, I recite this:

RABBANAA HAB LANAA MIN AZWAJINAA WA ZURRIYAATINAA QURRATA A'YUNI WAJ'ALNAA LIL MUTTAQINA IMAMAA

Ya Tuhan kami, anugerahkan kami suami-suami (isteri-isteri) dan keturunan kami sebagai peyejuk hati, dan jadikanlah kami pemimpin bagi orang-orang yang bertaqwa.

Our Lord, grant us true joy in our spouses and children and make us role models for those who are mindful (of You)

Anyhoos, insya Allah, the sisters and I will have a riadah tomorrow morning at Bukit Shahbandar, and tarus do our halaqah session there right after exercising. A change of venue, once in a while, exciting kan? You, we wish you were here. We miss you!!!

Until then, remember Allah in your moments. Remember to thank Him for today. Remember to do your bit in portraying the beauty of Islam in your everyday life, do dakwah when you can =)
