Salaam everyone.
Well, not much for updating, except that... a few events are already in line despite my busy schedule with second semester, I, for one is truly the one that seeks trouble!!
lol.
Okay. Details.
There'll be a 'Visit Malaysia 2007 Night at Leeds' to be held on 23rd March 2007 at Riley Smith Hall, Leeds University Union. What's interesting is, for 5 quid, you'll be getting the whole 'Malaysian food + performance + culture exhibition' since the aim is to promote Malaysia for tourism. What's even MORE interesting is, this bum is volunteering to participate. Oh no.. not just participate.. this bum is going to be a part of the....
dikir barat performance....
Can you see me rolling on the floor trying to believe it myself??
ME??? Dikir barat??? Performing on stage?? ME??
What's even more tempting is that, not only the lucky draw winner gets to win return tickets to Malaysia (oh at some point, I am hoping to win it tee hee), but the night will be hosted by one of 3R's hostesses - hmmm last night I tend to remember her name.. jap, let me go to their website.
*5 minutes later*
Got it.
It's Kartini, aka Tini. She's currently taking a postgraduate programme in London in International Broadcasting. Yippie.
Now, the sad thing about this is... the date clashes with the ummahfilm thingy I so badly want to go in London. Haiyah~
Well, it's still not too late to choose, yes??
Oh, also... with all these going around, with practices taking place every Sunday at LMU (Leeds Metropolitan University), and with two assignments to hand in, in less than 4 weeks, AND readings to do every single week for tutorial classes, I must say... life has never been so full. hee hee. Lets just pray I will be able to manage my time between studies and leisure. Well, more like entertainment to release the stress, no?
So, last night, we went to Kak Izan's place to celebrate Kak Ina's and Ida's birthday which fell on 16th and 15th Feb respectively. For the first time, I tasted Laksa Penang and man it was spicy. Hee hee, I guess at some point, I gotta get used to it, no?? lol. :P Here are some pics taken last night.
Toodles~ Have a great weekend all.
Allah hafiz.
<3
