A muslimah is one who sees Islam as a way of life (Ness, 2007)

Who is better among Allah’s worshippers than the one who sees others as better than him?

[Abu Bakr Saidlani]

Great friends I have made along the way...

Yet a few that I stumbled across turned out to be thorns in my beautiful bed of roses...

But that's okay, that's life, I tell myself...

Most of them would love me for who I am...

These 'most of them' friends are the ones I cherish the most...

Are the ones I thank Allah for having them in my life...

In times, I might fall down and cry...

But I'd get up again and again...

You may not know the tears I've cried...

And you may not care about the smiles I've enlightened...

But Allah knows. He knows...

So I dwell not of yesterday, I worry not of tomorrow...

Because as of today, I am happy, I am content... Alhamdulillah...

So long as I know I have Allah to love me, His humblest servant...

So come one, come all... enjoin me in this friendship :)

My dear friends...

The Prophet (s.a.w.) says that:

"The way to make amends for backbiting is to pray for the forgiveness of the person whom you have spoken ill of. Say, 'O Allah, forgive us as well as him" -- Hadith of Al-Bayhaqi

The Prophet (s.a.w.) also says that:

"Explaining the verse, 'good and evil are never equal; fend off evil with good...' (41:43), 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas said that God will protect those who exercise self-restraint when angry, forgiveness when badly treated. He will force their enemies to bow down before them as if they were his dear friends" -- Hadith of Al-Bukhari

Our beloved Prophet (s.a.w.) says that:

"None of you (truly) believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself" -- Hadith of Al-Bukhari
