Salaam everyone.
Like it or not, I will be 25 in a few hours (Brunei time la). Twenty-five.
TWENTY-FIVE
That's like, a silver anniversary of my birth.
Anyways, I would like to thank everyone (in advance) for wishing me well, remembering to wish me birthday, sending messages, giving presents and just be with me to celebrate the one day I feel so very lucky to be alive and blessed ;)
*grins*
And not forgetting, Happy 19th Birthday to Ammey as well. May Allah bless you and fill your life with success and happiness, in this world and especially the next, insya Allah. Always in my prayers, insya Allah.
On an anticipating note, my two assignments were due this week and I basically spent the day yesterday out with Gdah and Izzah, to make full use of Gdah's 20% Body Shop discount, albeit not a big fan of Body Shop, but there are a few products I have been a loyal consumer for many, many years :)
Out with the girls, off to Tie Rack we went. Izzah and I were browsing through the jewelery section when she asked me to 'model' for a few necklace. Found one which was nice and off she paid. Not known to my being, that little 'act' was intended for my birthday gift. Because the sweetness of her, gave me a little gift box before we parted. I was totally smitten. I didn't expect her to remember, let alone provide me with such an expected yet sweetest gesture. Hugged her twice!! :D
Afterwards, Gdah and I decided to have dinner at Charco's. While discussing about things, you know... girl talk. ;) Then headed home where I spent the rest of the night... sleeping *grins* Oh, you should know, earlier the day, I was not feeling well at all. I came in for my Gender class with flu and runny nose. It wasn't pretty and everyone just kept on asking "Nisa, you're not feeling well..." and there went their "get well soon..." Aaaah, indeed I did get well, Alhamdulillah... by going out shopping. Hee hee. Maybe it's another remedy for sickness, no??
Ah, even though I slept in early, I woke up around 2-ish just thinking about things. I hate when that happens. It makes me feel so tired having to wake up early in the morning as well. But nevermind. I've been good today. Did my laundry. Do some reading.
Because this weekend will be filled with practice and rehearsal and I have presentation to do next Wednesday, a group discussion on Monday and another 4 assignments to due. Life, pretty much... is a bliss! No rest for me lah, in other words. But it's a good distraction jua. I can't study all the time. I need time-off spend with amazing people :)
Oh Malaysian Night. I'm so excited.
Aiman: at 4??????????? I have to be at the place earlier than that. Can you manage to get to my house on your own? I'll give you Gdah's number so you can contact her upon arrival so she can open the door for you. And you can go with her as well for the night.
Sis Sher: Sweetness sis, Jazakallah!!! I love you brabisly too!! <3>
Ah, this may be a little late for an announcement.. but... El's pregnant!!!!!! And I am the sister who's hyperly-ecstaticly excited about it!!!!!!!! May Allah bless you with His love and blessings...
Oh. Pictures from the Malaysian food fest & exhibition held last Tuesday at Riley Smith.. where I got to eat Satay Ayam and Nasi Campur with Spring Onion Beef and Chicken Masak Merah... awu, kesian jua bunyinya but having to taste something that's not on a daily basis is actually something that's truly made me appreciate the little things in life..

Hee hee.
Okay then, I guess I'll stop here, my last post at the age of 24 :)
If you ask me what are my hopes and dreams turning 25 this year, I'd say...
May Allah have mercy on me, guide me to His right path, bless me and my family with His love and forgiveness, may He give me contentment and happiness in this world and the next... dipanjangkan umur dan dimurahkan rezeki and may my success will be based on His keberkatan... truly for the pleasure of Allah. Insya Allah...
.... and may He bless me with a companion/partner yang beriman dan baik, who can guide me to better myself as a muslimah, and insya Allah, as a wife and a mother (one day, insya Allah), in this world and the next.
Jazakallah everyone for being in my life... You are all so wonderful... Allah hafiz.
