things i'll miss.

"We'll keep in touch. We got FACEBOOK"

That's what my coursemates said as we hugged and parted on that day of our Graduation. Little did they know that I am not on facebook (yet) and I've deleted my Friendster account agesssss ago. I'm currently 'not up to date with everyone and I'm Friendster-less'.

10th December 2007 - That would be the last time I will ever see my coursemates, until one day, insya Allah, perhaps we'd plan a vacation together to visit each other. And that's the beauty of having an international friends from all over the world, there's a reason to come visit one day, insya Allah.

Assalamu'alaikum dear readers,

I'm reminiscing my one year in Leeds, all the things that I've done, things that happened, things that I went through. And now a year later, here I am. Best of the best, I gotta say. One year surely wasn't enough for me, but it was indeed enough to make me fall in love with Leeds. Everything great happened in Leeds. I admit my two years in Middlesbrough was different, but Leeds was an experience.

I was watching another episode of 'Jejak Rasul' on Astro Oasis today and it was about the story of Nabi Khaidir a.s. and Nabi Musa a.s. One of the things I remember most was that, it goes something like --- kita dituntut untuk menuntut ilmu tapi janganlah kita rasa berpuas hati dengan ilmu yang kita ada, and fikir yang kita lebih baik dari orang lain dengan ilmu yang kita ada, kerana berkemungkinan, ada orang yang lebih mengetahui dari kita, in other words, we must always try not to boast about our knowledge yang Allah kurniakan kepada kita... (this in fact is a reminder to myself first and foremost)

In other instance, my days lately have been pretty much settling in (for good) and catching up with my sleep. School holidays make me feel numb and pretty useless. That's why I'm planning my week for attending halaqah with the girls and tarbiyah sessions and tafseer sessions with Ustaz this coming Wednesday and Friday respectively, insya Allah. Plus I got the girly bloggers' night going on this Saturday, insya Allah.

Boy, two weeks away make me somewhat 'slow' and 'slambaaaaa'.

Is it me, or is everyone I know seem to be slipping out of my reach? Where's everyone? How's everyone? Good? I do hope so.

Kaka Hana: when are you coming back to Brunei?
Halaqah girls: can't wait to see you girls soon, insya Allah...
Ammey: how are you dearest?
Sis Alai: how was your KL trip?
Fins: hope you're coping with work very well... xoxo
the rest of you: pray that Allah keep you safe, always.

Pray to Allah that we remain steadfast in our Iman, insya Allah, wherever we are... ;)

ps. The thought of haj pilgrims make me cry. The sight of Holy Kaabah on tv make me cry even more... Ya Allah, keep them safe... You are Most Merciful.

Rabbi innee limaa anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeer
[My lord, I am in absolute need of the good You send me]

Allah hafiz.
